The Joan Padmore Memorial Senior Division of the Toronto Leaside Girls Hockey Association (TLGHA) is for adult players and participants who are 18 years and older.
Our very popular Senior Learn to Play Programs are offered in Fall and Winter.
This program is designed for adult women (ages 18 and up) who are beginner skaters as well as for those currently registered in the league who wish to improve their skills. This program will enable women with some skating ability to develop the skills needed to become contributing members of a recreational house league team. It will also provide challenging drills for current league players who wish to attain a higher level of play.
Learn to Play is a progressive teaching curriculum in which participants develop and improve skills and learn the game of hockey by participating in practice drills and informal and modified games. The instructor is able to tailor the drills to suit all skill levels. Skills such as skating, puck control, passing and shooting are introduced and refined in a progressive manner.
