Entering & Exiting
Face coverings must be worn in all areas of the facility except for on-ice. Face covers should remain on until just before the team is to go on the ice.

Players and team staff must enter through the East Arena Entrance doors for screening by city staff no earlier than 15 minutes prior to ice time.

Rink 1
Players and staff should enter Rink 1 from the lobby through the “enter” door on the rink level, exit through the “exit” door into the lobby and exit the facility through the West lobby doors.

Spectators are required to go up the stairs from the lobby to the stands. Spectators are required to access the stands from the front side and exit the stands by travelling behind the stands and back down the stairs to the lobby. Once in the lobby, spectators should exit the arena through the West lobby doors.

Rink 2
Players and staff should enter Rink 2 from the lobby through the “enter” door and walk around the right-hand side of the rink to their assigned dressing rooms. Players will then exit through the fire door at the far end of the rink -coming out on the west side of the building just before the tennis courts.

Spectators should enter Rink 2 from the lobby through the “enter” door and walk around the left side to the stands. Spectators will exit through the fire door at the far end of the rink – coming out on the west side of the building just before the tennis courts.

To prevent a large number of people in the lobby, spectators (limit one per player) must enter the East Arena Entrance doors for screening by city staff no more than 5 minutes prior to the ice time. Once in the rink, spectators should follow the signs to their assigned rink and stay within the area marked. Spectators are required to exit the rink through the designated door immediately following the session.

To speed up the process of screening and the collection of contact tracing information by city staff, teams should provide a list of player and team staff and their contact information (phone # is preferred), so that the city can use this information for contact tracing and screening confirmation for each session.

For games, visiting teams should be asked to bring a list of players and staff with contact info for contact tracing purposes that they provided to city staff upon entry.

Exiting at 10:00 p.m. or later
Players, staff and spectators exiting the arena at 10:00p.m. or later will be permitted to exit out the East Arena Entrance doors.

Dressing Rooms
Players are encouraged to dress as much as possible in the parking lot before entering the rink. Each ice time will be assigned two dressing rooms with a maximum capacity of 6 per room.

On-Ice
The number of participants on the ice is limited to 50 as per the city’s latest direction. “On-ice” includes the benches, penalty box, and timekeeper’s box.

Restrictions
There will be no congregated in common spaces (i.e. lobby)

The North entrance connected to Rink 2 is closed for the season

Participants are not permitted to use the doors between Rink 1 & 2

Spectators may not exit the stands on Rink 1 through the north staircase to the rink level.

Players and staff may not share any personnel equipment. Players are reminded to ensure they have all their equipment, full water bottle and stick prior to entering the facility.

Health & Safety Protocols
While the city is completing screening and contact tracing for anyone entering the rink, teams are still required to adhere to the SSGHA – RTH COVID-19 RESPONSE PLAN which requires teams to complete health screening and collect contact tracing information for all participants at a team event.
