Goalie Training…
Most house league teams don’t have regular goalies so all players take turns in net – usually two turns in the season. Each team has an assigned set of goalie equipment provided by the league. Players who volunteer to play in net have the opportunity to attend a goaltending class at no cost to her family.
We have a fully subsidized goalie school that operates weekly on Saturdays. Subject to confirmation of our ice permits with the City of Toronto, we expect goalie school to be on Saturday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at Moss Park arena. These sessions are very successful and many of our players attend at least one lesson.
