4 on 4 Program
What is the Spring 4 on 4 Program?
This program is a fun, fast-paced, wide open hockey, with a focus on balanced teams. It encourages young players to get used to carrying the puck up the ice, making plays and is a great opportunity for our players to sharpen their skills and grow their confidence in preparation for the fall season.
This program is for current Wildcats only
The age groups for the Spring 4 on 4 season will be based on a players 2019/2020 category.
As per last season, if registration numbers permit by age group (Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam, and Midget), the association will consider running two separate divisions in an age group if it believes that will improve the balance of game play and thus player development. Spreading more game times into weekday evenings will also be considered if local arenas have availability.
The format will be the same as previous years, there will be 2 games per week over 6 weeks starting at the beginning of May. There will be no games during the May long weekend.
For those divisions that are waitlisting – it’s important interested players continue to add themselves to the wait list. This allows the 4 on 4 committee to have a full picture and figure out which waitlisters can be accommodated.
Novice (2011 and 2012); Atom (2009 and 2010); Peewee (2007 and 2008); Bantam (2005 and 2006); Midget (2002, 2003, 2004)
$240 per player (cost of jersey included in fee)
